Een van de nieuwe tools die we bij Progress Communications volop aan het verkennen zijn, is\u00a0de\u00a0mogelijkheid om lokale Facebookpagina\u2019s te koppelen aan een global page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Facebook is global but social is local\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2026 Een motto waar een leuke <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mindjumpers.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/9-reasons-to-do-localization\/\">infographic<\/a> bij hoort. Facebook maakt het mogelijk voor een merk om consumenten over de hele wereld te bereiken. Toch is het cruciaal om consumenten te prikkelen met doelgerichte, cultuur \u2013en taalgebonden informatie; tips voor een Labor Day BBQ van een sausjesmerk hebben weinig nut in Belgi\u00eb net als \u2018le quatorze juillet\u2019 geen enkele betekenis heeft voor de doorsnee Chinees. Daarom hebben vele bekende internationale merken een global page, zoals <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/volkswagen?fref=ts\">Volkswagen<\/a> &#8211; met 558,392 likes &#8211; in combinatie met lokale pagina\u2019s van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/VolkswagenUK?fref=ts\">Volkswagen UK<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/Volkswagenindia?fref=ts\">India<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/vwcanada?fref=ts\">Canada<\/a>, \u2026 Als fan moet je dan natuurlijk een keuze maken: Like ik de global of local page? En als merk zit je doelgroep behoorlijk verspreid en heb je weinig overzicht.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Global EN local<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sinds kort kan je dus global pages combineren met lokale content: verschillende lokale pagina\u2019s van \u00e9\u00e9n merk kunnen worden samengevoegd tot \u00e9\u00e9n hoofdpagina met eronder lokale pagina\u2019s. Dit lijkt zowel voor consument als merk alleen maar voordeel op te leveren. Als fan hoef ik voortaan niet meer te kiezen tussen verschillende pagina\u2019s van \u00e9\u00e9n merk en zie ik automatisch de informatie die relevant is voor mijn regio in mijn eigen taal. Bedrijven kunnen de touwtjes in handen houden en zijn aanwezig onder \u00e9\u00e9n naam en URL met het totaal aantal fans en People Talking About.
